Mame Games Run Slow Why?

For Some Reason Only With MAME!!! All The Games With That Emualtor I Play on My Comp Run Slow...The Game Will Play Fine For About 15 Seconds Then All Of A Sudden It Gets So Slow And Glitchy Looking For Me...But The Other Persons Game Still Plays Fine..What Could Be Causing This Is Thsi Because Of A Setting On My Graphic Card...Any help I Would Greatly Apreciate...THANKS ALOT...When I Start The Game Up It Runs Fine For About 15 Seconds Then It Gets So Slow And Glitchy I Cant Even make Out What My Char Is Doing...My Comp Can Handle The Game Without And Problem I Know It Can It HAs Great performance

I agree with Kameo, and I second the motion, please be more clear.

If you cant put any effort into typing a complete sentence/paragraph, why should we put any effort into reading and answering your issue?

Some people here are friendly, some aren't. You just lost a lot of luck when these two replied to your thread. But that doesn't mean this whole site is not friendly, in entirety. Some people are just like that; don't stereotype the whole site by judging merely these two users.

So, like I said, Kurt will probably be able to help you if and when he gets back online. Or maybe Kameo if he changes his mind. I can't help you because I don't know anything about MAME.

I'd help but I also know nothing about MAME...also even though thats how you've always typed on the internet certain people find things annoying, and generally if it has to do with how someone types they probably wont help you or even bother to read what you type. Now if you were to retype it like you would actually right a paper to turn in to an english teacher then I'm sure if Kameo notices you did that he would help you. Sometimes you have to compromise to get help. Plus not the whole forum is mean to people. I have yet to have any real problems with this forum. Infact if there was a voting page I would give it the highest score possible I love this place. =^.^=

Tell the truth the crack comment was the rudest post. Kameo and Darth Brady said that they would help if he would just type it normal. They didn't even make fun of him. All they said was that the way he typed was annoying. It's not like they said he was a homo or that he should go jump off a cliff and kill himself because of the way he died.....Kameo even said thanks as the end of his post -.-.....though Darth Brady was slightly rude but *shrugs* oh well.....not our loss....

Eh...I didn't mean you had to appologize. I think he was to sensitive too. If you can't take a joke then obviously you wont be getting very far in life and also you might as well avoid asking for help on forums or having any social contact at all because it is inevitable that everyone is going to be nice to you all the time. He just needs to learn how to either compromise, take a joke, or ignore people he dosn't like. Specially since its the internet.

Ok I'm not trying to be rude but could you please retype what is going on exactly when you play the game and your graphics card. I myself can't help you because I know little of MAME, but the people that can help you are annoyed by the way you capitlize the first letter in every word. All you need to do is just retype it like I am typeing and then I am sure you will get help, though it will most likely be tomorrow. You might even have to do a new thread if no one ever replies within a day or so, because they may not check back. Sorry if this is an inconvienance to you, but sometimes online you have to make compromises I learned that along time ago.

im trying to figure out why my games r running so slow on mame i know for a fact that my comp is wayyyy more then compatible for all the games and can handle them with ease...but for some reason when i play them like 2 minutes laster the game gets really slow like the frame rate is really bad and i know its not lag...my graphics card is a Radeon Xtasy X300 SE Hypermemory...I Dont know whats causing this but anyone who can help thank u alot !

maube its your internet? sound setting could be a possibility i guess, video settings too, or maybe your were so unlucky that one those lag munster wanted to hang around for awhile
