The Geek Music Thread

Every once in a while, amidst my working on PC's in my spare time, I like to find some "computer" or "geek" music, to get a laugh, or just see if their is somthing cool out there;)

I know I am not alone in this, I'm sure many people have some kind of Tech-Oriented song somewhere.

I found this One this morning, I dont know who sings it yet, but it's kinda like a "theme song for geeks" and it made me laugh.

(PS- My Girl now thinks I am crazy, when she caught me drinking coffee doing the robot dance in my boxers at 7:30 this morning while this song was jammin' in my PC workshop :p )

I think it's called "we like to party" by the vanga brothers or something. It's the theme song for the sixflags commercials where the old guy dances if you have seen it. Defenitly a geek song. :)

I don't know. I don't suppose you count the Matrix Reloaded theme song as a geek song?

Technologic is done by Daft Punk one of my FAVORITE techno groups. They have alot of songs out and you should look them up their awesome.


BTW *grins from ear to ear* I have tons of geek music on this computer.....You want techno, or maybe some rap(MC Chris/MC PeePants from ATHF), or maybe you want some songs about poop...I got a funny/weird regge song that is called somebody just poop....and thats like the only lyric in the song.....I even got the theme song to fraggle rock on this computer....dont forget to get HAppy Happy Joy Joy by Ren and Stimpy I got the song and video on this computer.....Beavis and Butthead songs are good too.....You ever hear the Hamster Dance? It's by blueman group if I'm not mistaken...oh yes get brak and space ghost songs...their hillarious....look up Jet Set Radio Future and Jet Grind Radio....that music is completely geek music...and fu@#ed up....one song is birthday cake its awesome.....Devo is geek music....Dr. Demento......The Flaming Lips are kinda weird....Freezepop is cool.....Guitar Vader does some songs for the Jet set/Grind radio plus he has other songs he's cool...Lords of Acid is a techno group that since about sex and whatnot and its a chick..she has a song called I must I must increase my bust and darling come here and fu#@ me up the rear...and more.....Mindless Self Indulgence is awesome...kinda techno/rock...Monty Python is cool....prozzak-I like to watch (Milo's night out) is a techno song...they change their music sound from song to song but I like prozzak mostly about love though.....Scooter is a pretty good techno maker...so is Paul Van Dyke.....TISM is messed up....Detachable penis is a song you might look up...and push th' lil daisies...eh...I'll stop there....

Well, there is always stuff by Aphex Twin. There is Take on Me by Aha!, there is Scat Man, Video Killed the Radio Star by the Buggles, I'm Blue by Eiffel 65, and lots of other stuff. Geek music anyways.

Hmm...I'm blue is a good song, but has a crappy video. ^.^ I got over 2,300 music songs on my computer, and 400-500 music videos. I only mentioned a couple of the bands on my computer. I'm not sure what you would consider geek music.

I like the original (PS1) Ridge Racer music. I guess its Techno, geek or whatever but I think it sounds pretty cool.
