What Game System Controller do you like the best?

Simple enough, think of your fav Controller for a game system(ie: GC, Xbox, PS2, ect) be it because of looks features, just let you play the game the best or what ever reason.

I have a small problem with this poll. When you say Xbox controller do you mean Big(original) or the small ones? Because the small ones suck. I loved the big controller they had came out with. Best controller ever!

but now for my choice controller, got to be the Gamecube controller. small, looks pretty cool, all the botton are easy to get at, and how it sit in your hand is very conferable. plus the "L" and "R" buttons are cools too

The gamecube controller is my favourite, it just fits perfectly in my hands, in the EXACT right position. Other controllers feel completely straight like ps2, but the gamecube is curvy and its so comfortable. Systemeth, what is that game in your sig picture? it looks fun.

My fav is defenitly the PS1/PS2 controllers. Very comfortable, not heavy and all the buttons are located in good areas. Plus it has built in rumble and the analog feature is very well done. I hated the N64 controller. The designed is wacked and my hands start to cramp up after a while.

The N64 controller would've been much better had they repositioned the joystick and eliminated the need for 3 handles. Seeing as they did not, I'll have to go with the sleek design of the PS1/PS2 controllers.

I don't know about the PS2 controllers, as I have never seen one, but the PS1 controllers are pure crap. It's so damned annoying in FF8 for an example, having to hold the SELECT button while pressing the square to boost a GF. Pressing that stupid select button is just so damned uncomfortable!!!

The N64 controller design was "weird" but somehow, it worked perfectly for me.

I love the N64 controller an dteh GC controller. I voted for N64 though. GC is much more comfortable though, and I like the button placement, but if you try to play 64 games on a GC controller, it doesn't work out. But I am a lot better at games when I can use a 64 controller, it just seems to have more precision. Third Place I guess would be the PS2 controller, and teh Xbox controllers are shaped like feet.

Ha! PS2's winning. I like it the best because it's pretty easy to use. The N64 controller gets sort of uncomfortable, and the Xbox one is just shaped retarded. GameCube comes in second though.

I think the PS1/PS2 controller is more comfortable than any other, but I remember the first PS1 dual shocks ever made... they were ways better, a little heavier (and it made them even more comfortable, weird but true).

Anyway the old Six Buttons Megadrive controller was good.

About the Famicom joysticks (I got a Nintendo Family Computer) they were too uncomfortable... too rectangular and not rounded...

I've never seen a PS2 controller, or an Xbox controller. What are the PS2 controllers like? If they're like the PS1 controllers, I can't see why 9 people vote for them! The PS1 controller is the worst I can think of!

They just take time to get used to. I'd been strictly Nintendo all my life until I bought my PS2. I didn't like the controls at first, but the more I got used to them the more appreciative towards them I grew.

Nintendo is smart enough to revolutionize gaming, and you just say the controller sucks without even feeling what it's like? Do you know how the controller will work?
I'm positive the controller will rock. All the people who have tried the controller seems to like it. To LOVE it.
Besides, there will be another controller, shaped more like a normal controller. And I've heard a rumor, that there's a NES-like controller on the backside of the Wii-mote. Makes sense, with the backwards compatibility.

And what would happen if nobody tried to change gaming? The gaming industry would die! The graphics are almost as good as they can be, and these days it seems like that's the only thing that changes with every new generation. And does a 1337 mhz processor automatically increase gameplay?
Like someone said, the PS3 is a PS2 on steroids. The Wii is a gaming revolution.

Um I played GC and actually enjoyed games on it, but the controller sucks ***. A. its to small. B. its weirdly shaped C. its uncomfterable because its to small.

However the orginal Xbox controller was just the right size and comfy. Oh how I miss it. Wait I still have two! MWUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Also, to reply to noodles I think it was, The xbox controller dosnt have any more bells or whistles than the PS2 controller, so I dont know what your talking about there.

I bet the 99% of all people posting in this thread haven´t experienced the xbox 360 controller for windows yet, and dare to say that the ps2 and a so crap controller like the n64 one are the best. I simple don´t understand why.

I really reccomend the usage of xbox 360 controller:

-very nice:D
- usb 2.0 NATIVE, ps2 is not. So you have to do a lot of things to play with it.(like buying adaptors, downloading drivers,soldering printer cables):mad:
-no need of drivers, it is plug n´play: so less pain and more fun
- 2 axis, 2 pedals, 10 buttons:D
-thousand times more accurate and precisse than ps2 contoller:D
-waaay much more confortable and cozy than the ps2 controller:D
- in question is cheaper than the ps2 controller (no extra wiring or soldering,
or no need to buy adaptoors of any kind and that´s a waste of money and time. with this baby just plug...and play):D
-with no diver and just-plug-to play features you´ll feel that nice sonsole
feeling sensation towards your pc:D

and after seen all this:
ANY ONE that still thinks that ps2 is better has serios mental problem or is a fanatic.

IS THE BEST SOLUTION FOR PC GAMING!!!!

one thing to say about the at Xbox360 controller for the comp, why would I want to pay $60 for a controller relaited to the Xbox "big foot" controller when i can buy a $20 USB cord witch lets me use my personal fav controller, the gamecube controller
