Does anyone play this game? I know virtually nothing about it, only that it's one of the first, if not the first, cross-system MMORPG.

FFXI is a MMORPG thats on the PC, PS2, and Xbox. Also I played this game before. I liked it alot. It brings back the job class system for your characters. The only bad hting about it is at higher levels you can't solo and you have to level up a secondary class to the maximum level it can be otherwise people generally wont group with you. Another thing is that it takes forever to level up, and also can take forever to make money. Other than that this game is awesome. I kinda wish I still had it, and a high speed internet connection. :(

Oh and yes Xbox/PS2/ and PC users all play together. If theres anything more specific your interested in let me know.

Nope I work at Eb and Final FAntasy 11 is on ps2, xbox 360, and pc and is playable online for all of those systems.

Well then maybe FERGUS's EB guy is on drugs.

That or he might have gotten Final Fantasy XI mixed up with Final Fantasy XII.

I thought the Xbox had a version of it too? Though I could be wrong and it was just Xbox 360. I knew one of them had it though. *stays ontop of games as much as he can*

Nope, the xbox doesn't have Final Fantasy XI on it, but the Xbox 360 does.

i really wouldnt sugest geting ff11. it was fun for a while but its just to repeditive. pluse after level 10 its inposible to solo and get anywhere. i dont like mmorpgs so much because you have to depend on other players to much. you can be the best there is and still die 100 times if your partied with some idiots. and same thign the other way around. if you make a mistake your leting other people down witch doesnt feel to good. so personaly i just dont think its worth the time and money.

Can you PK in FF XI? If so forming a guild would be the way to go.

I do believe there is someway to fight eachother, but I dont remember been to long. Though not in the sense that you can PK anywhere you want, I think its more like you challange them to a dual and they have to accept.

There is no challange to it unless some one has been smart enough to get a high ranking with all of the good weapons, armour and spells and the like.

Armours/weapons/spell are based off levels I do believe in that game
