if you download RPG maker 2003, that is considered illegal now? i remember when it was 100% free. since when has this gone into efffect? and if i downloaded RM2K3 when it was legal and if i still have it now... is that original copy considered illegal now? i mean, i DID download it when it was free... so would i get in trouble?

No there was a misunderstanding when I mentioned the money part. -.- He thought I ment a download that lets me get out of paying money for the program when I was referring to a download thats not on file planet because when I went to register for an account there they wanted money for me to register. Anyway...I'm still looking for a Freewarez download of RPG Maker 2003. <.< >.> there that should be right....

Ok now this is just getting ridiculous.

You both need to do a little research yourself before you keep making all these posts. So this is how its going down:

If you had looked closely at the RPG Maker 2003 downloads at file planet, you would notice they only have the updates for RPG maker. I think you have clearly mistaken File Planet for a type of site that it is not.

Furthermore, RPG Maker 2003 may have had Free downloads at one time, this is true. But if you actually researched it, you would find that RPG Maker 2003 isnt even carried anymore, it was replaced by the New Version RPG Maker XP, and the full version licensed version costs a retail of $60 US Dollars.

I tried to explain this to you in the PMs, but apparently like the sites themselves, you didnt read them close enough.

So if you wanna try to find an old download of the free version, cool, go right ahead. But that should be discussed in a Request forum, not here. ;)

And if you wanna find an illegal version, fine. Go right ahead. But Here is not the place to do it. ;)

If you wanna find out if your copy is legal, you should already know to try to contact the vendor you got it from, or the games official web site. Your best bet is always the original source. ;)
