can the psp 2.80 have homebrew?

Is the psp version 2.80 capable of having homebrew? Is there a downgrader for this version?I must know.
I want to play snes games on my psp firmwire 2.80.
Can any one please give any suggestions?

I've heard that most homebrews are done with 1.5, and I've read that it's illegal to downgrade as well.
Being illegal probably won't stop you from doing it, but I'm not sure it can be done anyhow.

Downgrading isnt illegal, its just dangerous, you run the risk of bricking up your system when you do it. There are no hombrew games for version 2.8. Give it a few months for the downgrader, there still working on a downgrader for firmware 2.6.
