How Bout' a Science Forum?

Just a thought, How about adding a science forum to CoolROM?

Would anyone else be interested in a forum where we could share awesome scientific discoveries, and discuss them?

Here is an example of somthing that would fit nicely there:

-its showing where scientists created a plasma field with the power 80 times the entire world's power, and is now registered as the highest temerature ever recorded on earth. I just think stuff like this would make for some great discussions.

So, What do you guys think? Will Admin go for it, or will it just be another ignored idea?

I'm O.K. with it, although I'm not too interested in most science. I do like cool little tricks or whatever. Like once I went to this science museium and found out how to see veins and blood cells in my eyes. It was pretty cool.

P.S. I also like how months aren't attracted to light, but to darkness. They fly to the darkest spot there is, which is right behind the light. Tricky. :D

hmm...I think its good idea, but one that will be ignored...maybe a knowledge forum? that why anything that is educational can be out in it. though a forum like that will need a very active mod are a few mods to fliter on the crap. and they need to be pretty smart i guess

I think we should start setting up online petitions when we want to get a new feature added around here. That way, we could have majority rule and a written document, and Admin would have to try slightly harder to ignore us.

I'm big into science, too, so it's fine with me.

Science is the process of proving natural things in the world. I learned that today in Biology class. :DScience is not a process. And it's not for proving natural things in the world, it's for proving natural things in the universe. Your Biology teacher made that up.

As for the idea, I can't exactly say. It depends on how many users want it, but it would take a lot to make a science forum in an emulation website. Even sports seemed more general and worth being added. Don't get me wrong; science is one **** of a big subject, and I think it's more interesting than sports. But I don't think a place for scientific discussion between CoolROM users could be a forum like it could be a single thread where users talk about things. It could only have users posting in it for so long, and I just don't know. I leave it up to everyone else.

I think a Science & Technology forum rightfully deserves a spot here.
I'm pretty sure it would get more attention than the Sports & Recreation board, which is off to a pretty solid start I might add.

Besides, I havent got to share one of my forums with another mod yet, it could be a good experience to co-mod with someone

But I must warn you, so far the forum is pretty Low-Traffic, so dont expect to have much to do there. ;)
