Guys....

THese are all types and categories of RAM. PC-100, PC-3200, DDR, DDR2, GDDR3, ect, ect, -- they are ALL different types of RAM. It's important to make sure the RAM you put in your machine is compatible. To find the answer to this, you will have to find out what your motherboard can handle.

PC Ram Types Have Been around long before DDR types were ever even heard of. So it's important to make sure your machine can use DDR/DDR2/or even GDDR, before you go out an buy it.

I´ve heard that the ASUS A8N32-SLI can support up to 8GB DDR Ram

I have this mobo myself and the manual doesn´t say anything about.

Maybe, if its a special Model. But I doubt it.

In my Books, The specs are as follows for ram:
Dual channel memory architecture
4 x DIMM, max. 4GB, DDR 400 / 333 / 266, ECC, non-ECC, un-buffered memory

Thats a 4GB Limit, and only up to DDR 400, So DDR2, and GDDR may not be compatible, DDR 400 is basically "Standard" DDR RAM. But thats not bad, it's nice RAM. By the way, VERY Nice Motherboard ;)
