Okay, I installed Windows Media Player 11 Beta, and it sucks, and now, I tried to reinstall 10, and it won't let me. Is there anything I can do? I don't really know how to uninstall Windows Media Player, as it isn't in the list in my Add/Remove Programs area, and I have a hunch, but I don't want to mess anything up, so, a little help here?

What R U doing with Microsoft garbage in the first place?? I have no idea how to uninstall, but let me give U some advice, use as less rubbish from Microsoft as possible. There's plenty of good, less bloated, way more compatible alternatives out there, U should go for them instead of choosing the crap Microsoft creates.
Install Microsoft Vista on a spare HDD if U have one and enjoy the heavily bloated, DRM overloaded new OS from Microsoft......

Actually Kameo is right on this. Windows Media Player does suck. I use Ashampoo, and it's hecka good. It does almost anything I want it to do with any type of media.

Lesson Learned.
If you want media player works for you, use it :)
But NEVER trust a Beta Version of It!
you will probably have to email microsoft, or check their tech support center for help.

4200MHz, 1024MB RAM. Should do it, but it uses tons of resources. Install Windows 95 and compared its usage to what XP uses. And Vista even uses more. I'll stick with XP for a while, no need to update to Vista for the next five years orso to come :).
Hey, what happened to AG?? It's gone for some reason :p .....

AG = Abusive Gaming @ www.abusivegaming.com (http://www.abusivegaming.com)
I know Zolrak from EuroEmu, then he went to AG as well, now he's here too :p. I tried to access AG a few times a couple of days ago but it appears to be gone. I wondered if he knew what happened to it because I kicked Holly, or Emu Chica (the Admin. there) out of my MSN list :p. So, obviously, I can't ask her :p .....
-Edit-
Nevermind, it's back already :p ......

Okay then, so I should just get this Ashampoo? Anyhow, I have an idea, and since you guys don't have any suggestions, I am going to try my way and see if I can get WMP 10 back.
As for Microsoft products, I have them because I have a Microsoft Operating system. Firefox said something about getting the latest plugin for WMP at a site, I downloaded it, but it installed WMP 11 instead of any firefox plugin.

If you would of looked, they have instructions on the windows media player download area of how to revert back to older WMP's if you dont like the new one......Though I'm sure you looked and just didnt see it :D So I hope you find it this time. Unless it dosnt tell you how to do that for the beta version.

Note If you have installed Windows Media Player 11 and want to roll back to version 10, see the steps in the Player 11 Release Notes so that you don't lose any content that is protected with digital media usage rights.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ windowsmedia/download/AllDownloads.aspx?displang=en&qstechnology= - thats the website that is on. so you know I broke the link in half incase it was insvalid so you could copy and paste it. I'm sure somewhere on that site it tells you how to actually go back to earlier versions.
Edit : BTW sorry about late reply, but I went to the other forums to check around there.

well.... what type of proccessor do you have?
a pentium? then you have nothing
a core 2 duo? very well. if so something strange is happening
I´ve never seen any proccessor at this clock speed you say.
I have and amd athlon 64 X2 4800+ with 3Gigs and runs fine
you can try use system restore and restore to the time when you install wmp11.
