Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass DS

Phantom Hourglass looks amazing!! If you are a Zelda fan then this game is for you. I personally can't wait for this game to be released. From looking at the trailer, the graphics look GOOD, but might could be a little better. It looks like hhe wind waker. Sometimes it gives a more 3-d arial view, although, at the end of the trailer it is giving a more 3rd person view. Anyway lets discuss what everyone thinks about this game. Im not so intersted in Zelda especialy on DS because I dont own one but this game looks like its going to have excelent game play and graphics Im not too sure about which market it will be aplealing to though. It looks like a kids game now where as that one which was suppost to be coming out on the GameCube looks to be aiming its age group much higher. Im not saying the games imature nature will make it a bad game, its just not for me. Ive got acess to a DS though and if the owner buys that game ill defantly have a go to see how well theyve incoprated the touch screen, That bit with the bomerang looks great and I like the idea of being able to jot notes on the map.

Haven't seen the trailer, but I LOVE zelda games. My favourite is Link to the past, have also played Zelda 1, 2, Link's Awakening, Oracle of Seasons & Ages, Ocarina of Time + Majora's Mask. I wouldn't say it's a kids game though, kids haven't got the patience to play it without using walkthroughs (the only real way of playing zelda)

Oh hells yeah i am one of the biggest fans ever of zelda i have all of them still sealed in there boxes even the N64 ones and the gameboy/gameboy advance and i also have them all in japanese and still sealed. you could say i've spent like $800 on all of this just because i've been obsessed with it since i was 3 yo and i beat most of them when i was little except for windwaker i beat that like a year after it came out :D

This is what I love about the DS... it makes me feel like I'm rediscovering videogames. Lots of cool titles, and this just takes the cake.

This looks pretty sweet. I haven't really played any Zelda games, but I want to. And with the DS coming out with graphics as good as N64, I might get one now that I think about it.

Personally I think that The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hour glass is going to be amazing having played and beaten every zelda game from gameboys to n64. From the trailers the game looks amazing and gameplay, especially considering the fact that the ds is a portable gaming system, is going to be amazing. For the previous comment regarding the game being for a younger demographic indicates that you have no true grasp of what zelda games are about. At first glance one might argue the game might seem to be for a youth audience due to the somewhat cartoony graphics but upon playing windwaker for the gamecube I found that the new graphic engine implemented just added a certain elegance to the game giving zelda fans a different look on what the game has to provide. Elaborating on the fact of having a grasp of what zelda games are about is that all zelda games from the gameboy days to the upcoming wii days all had the same basic principles being a game filled with puzzle and adventure packed with action to make zelda one of the best games to hit consoles. Another reason the ds version is going to be a hit is because the whole game is operated via the stylus which is going to make gameplay 1) A completely different experience and B) a far more interactive and enjoyable one. With the upcoming nintendo wii the direction gaming is going is exciting as nintendo is revolutionizing the way games are being played. The reason I personally think the wii is going to be a hit is because with the new controller technology you can now feel engulfed in gameplay and have a sense of actually being the character you are playing as.
