Claudia Mitchell, lost an arm due to a motorcycle accident. She is now using a bionic arm that she can control with her thoughts.

Wicked, the Terminator comes alive :D .

Right now they can make blind people see, but only if they had sight before age 7. They link a camera to your brain. They can do lots of things now, Lol.
Oh, and I have heard of bionic legs, but arms?! Holy smokes! Technology is crazy nowadays.

Now to make the arm look less ugly.. :P
Lol! Seriously, if I was a girl I would probably cry everytime I looked at it. It looks kinda scary
Technology is amazing, nowadays.. Cure for blindness after 7? That's really good. And thought power.. transmitted into electronic signals in an electronic device.. It's only a matter of time before memories can be recorded onto computers and my theory of electronic afterlives can be realised!! :D

Lol, your brain is who you are. If you switch brains, then you'd just switch bodies. :D

I learned this when I was freaking 3. You didn't know that the "thinking" process takes place in your brain? If you didn't know that, CM, I'm doubting that you even use your brain, Lol.
But I'm sure you know that. So are you being sarcastic, or you never thought of it?

Yea, that was cool. If you want to see how much pizzaman uses his brain, look at his images. For all we know, we could be geniuses.
Anyhoo, did they make a brain transplant yet?

Lol, still with the brain transplant.
Well I know that they've seperated the brain into two for this guy, and he's fine know.

Clearly you don't know the definition of "brain transplant," so I'll just drop it.
Back to arms. I think they are easier to make than legs, because with legs, you need to make them sturdy and have good balance, lest you fall on your face every 5 seconds.

When did I say that cutting your brain in half was a transplant? Clearly you don't know how to read, so I'll just drop it.
And it'd be harder to make arms, because you need to be able to grab things with your hands. Legs and feet can't do that. But I think, not totaly sure, that those "bionic" legs are made of steel aloid. I remember hearing that somewhere.

Either you weren't answering my question, or you couldn't answer my question. I want an answer, not a random fact.
Well, then it depends on if it's harder to make grabby thingies or balancy thingies..

I'd just like to state, if there is still any confusion.. you would only transplant your brain if you wanted a new body. If you put a different brain into the body, it would belong to whoever the brain is.
Human mind/thought processes/personality/memory are all stored in the brain. Remove that, and you remove yourself ;)
Besides, they can't do brain transplants yet.. Think about all those nerve endings (in the spine alone there are too many, let alone the rest of the body). They would have to disconnect the brain from it all, leaving the nerves intact to be able to connect up to another brain/body.

1. I wasn't trying to answer you question, I was trying to explain the farthest sceince has gone AFAIK.
2. It's easy to balance things. Just take a chair for example. http://forums.ngemu.com/images/smilies/Standard/wink.gif Get some playdow and try and make something that balances, then try to make something that can grab things. See the difference? http://forums.ngemu.com/images/smilies/Standard/wink.gif

That's what I said! But CM didn't understand. http://forums.ngemu.com/images/smilies/Standard/wink.gif
Plus, what would happen if the body rejects the brain? Dun dun DUN!
