I've been trying forever now to make game X into an iso file on my pc, but whateverr program I use, whether its Isobuster, Alcohol 120 or CdRWin, I can't get it to read. All of these programs keep saying that there is a track error at sector X and it continues on and on.
I've also tried using Isobuster to extract the files direclty from the cd, burning them onto a cd r and then making an Iso of that. While that method works, the Iso i get is either corrupted or usless. Help!

When you use alcohol 120%, did you make sure the "ignore read/write errors" box was ticked on?

And yeah, copying files and burning them to a new CD seldom works these days, most every CD or DVD, has a lead-in track and a lead-out track, and it is impossible to copy these as they are only seen by the laser hardware. thus the entire first purpose of CD image files ;)

The problem is is that every single sector is a read/write error. I did a little investigating of both the cd's that I can't copy. Both have a file called "secdrv.sys" and it doens't let me copy the cd onto my hd. I'm not even trying to make a copy of it; I just want an iso of it.

That IS copying. The company who made the CD obviously doesn't want you to copy it, Lol. All I can tell you is to use DVD Decryper. I heard that you can use that with games, but I'm not totally sure. = /
