why is it that just about every metal band from the 80s has "gypsy" or reference to a gypsy in at least one song? examples follow
savge steel-the song "hit from the rear" refers to a gypsy prophet
"a gypsy's kiss"- deep purple
"orphan gypsy"-fates warning
i just think its weird.

why is it that almost every metal/rock band from the 70's/80's had some sort of message in it if played backwards? Its just those kind of things the world may never know.

Another question: why do metal/hard rock bands from that era have a need to have a self-titled song? e.g. Motorhead, Maiden, Sabbath, countless others I can't remember...
Oh, and if you play Ozzy backwards you're apparently told to not eat biscuits. True story.

Ah, nm man it was a british commercial from a series supposedly busting myths (i.e. all black men are good dancers, metal records have subliminal messages etc). It was some goth chick playing an ozzy record backwards and being told not to eat biscuits. Meh, I laughed at the time. Must be a "have to have been there" moment

you know, you dont have to play the records backwards...just get the MP3, download a lil program called audacity, and play the mp3 backwards from there.... thats what i did.... the best is led zepplin stairway to heaven.... theres about 30 seconds of satanic message in there...and it wasnt intentional....so yeah...and the jerky boys....ive HEARD OF them but never actually heard them....

Ah the best one is on a beatles track, cant remember which one but it says paul is dead wen u play it backwards ie mccartney.
