New (not nu) metal bands?

I am fan of metal but does any other fans of the genre realize how **** its gotten lately, I mean cmon im ****in sick of My Chemical *** Crack and Bullet for my Suckentine. I want sum good decent music again. If anybody is listening to good under ground metal, then gimme some names of bands - Puuhlease

All kinds of good metal. Ive heard all of the non underground stuff, love head charge. Saw em twice. I'l give the other 4 a go tho. Cheers Thank u

Couldn't agree more. It's not metal. It doesn't matter how much black they wear, or how many spikes they want to buy, or how much make up they put on, it's still not metal.

All I can suggest if you want some decent metal stuff is stick with the classics - Saxxon, Maiden, Paradise Lost, Sabbath, Sinderella, etc

If you want to branch out and just try some decent hard rock, get yourself a Deep Purple best of, a Motorhead best of, Led Zep best of, try "Dirt" by Alice in Chains.

There's lots more. Oh so much more. But the best thing to do is to look around yourself - don't just take some guy on the internet's opinion. Try bands you've never heard of, even if you think you'll end up hating them - you'd be surprised. I never discovered Heavy Metal until a few years ago and since then the best part has been trying out different band and trying to find what I like
