There's one of two main problems with DBZ Buu's Fury that usually happen.

A) Saving no work.
This can be gotten around by changing the save type to EEPROM. Or just use save states.

((Very slight spoilers here.))

B) When actually playing the game (near the beginning) you have to go into the Kai's mansion or house or whatever. When you try to enter it you get some error message such as it will not play on this system. Or something to that effect.

This is because you need to use an older VBA to get past that part. Save a state before entering the mansion/house/whatever. Then switch to an older version of VBA (like version 1.1 it is what I used.) and load the state. Enter the place then play until you can leave the place. Then save state and switch back. Then enjoy your game.

~SIDENOTE~
Sometimes way after the end of the game when you're doing extra crap, some of the level-character doors (people who play this should know what i mean) do not work even when you meet the criteria for the door.

2. Open gbata, go to IPS Patcher, load the IPS file, load the DBZ game, change the output name if you want and press patch.

3. It´s done.

Not the Buu's Fury that I have.
What I listed is what I did to get it to work. No patch involved. The ROM didn't come with a patch either.
