Best DS racing game

Just got a new DS Lite, was looking for opinions on the best racing games for DS. I am definitely getting Mario Kart DS, so looking for something else, a sports car racing game for it, any suggestions?

I've been messing around with all these N64 games everyone's saying that they're unsupported but I've proved them wrong in a couple of games and I'm a mod now and stuff. It's a master list of the best emulator and plugins for each individual N64 game. I've even helped the PJ64 team out a bit with save files and an RDB correction and stuff. I have a few disagreements with this list, as I think what I've found may be better for two or three games, but this list should prove useful to you.

But enough off-topic ranting. I don't know any Nintendo DS games, racing or not, so nothing else to say.

First off, the only racing game for DS I have is Mario Kart DS. It's Mario Kart like you've played before with all new tracks plus a few tracks from all previous vers.
I like it.

Second, Iconoclast, you are with out a doubt the #1 auhtority on N64 emulation. Keep up the great work. Thanks for the above link, it's too sweat.

Need For Speed Underground 2 is on the DS, but IDK if it's any good or not. It's rated pretty high compared to the rest of the DS racing games, though.

I would say Mario Kart DS. Wi-fi, oh boy.

I've played the PSP NFS Underground 2 game; it wasn't very good.

What's the diff between Need for Speed Underground 2 and Need for Speed Most Wanted? other than the fact that Underground 2 is $10 more...

is it worth the extra $10 bucks?

Well both are pretty good games on the computer, but IDK about the DS. All I know is that, on the computer, Most Wanted is more like actual street racing, with cops after you wherever you go in the city. NFS Underground 2 is just like the first one, except with more cars, body kits, races, ect.

NFSUG2 on PSP is like that, minus the cops, free-roaming. It has less customization and less cars to choose from, but I guess that is to be expected of handhelds compared to consoles. You choose r5aces and events from a menu. There can be only 4 racers at a time, and the other cars are pitifully detailed and sparse. The gameplay gets stale quickly to me. IDK about the DS version, though.

I think one difference of Most Wanted and Underground 2 is that it can actually be daytime in Most Wanted. Egads!

is it worth the extra $10 bucks?Most wanted is the newest in the NFS series...though if they go in the same pattren NFS most wanted 2 should be out soon, and never buy the handheld version they suck really badly. I bought NFS Underground two...and it suck so bad, the steering was insain if you hit one little thing you pretty much screwed...waste of my money...and the graphic sucked too
