i recently got the emulator, earliyer today, and i took a few screenshots. can anyone tell me how i can view them?

The screenshots are in a file. Typicaly callled snap or screenshots.
Just open the folder and click on the files.

i coudnt find them. you WERE talking about the gens, right?

Depends on where its set to go in the Emulator. Usually though it would be under the Emulator Dir. You can change it to.
