It's official now, besides emulating NES, SNES and N64 the Revolution will also emulate the Sega Genesis/MegaDrive and some TurboGrafX-16 Games :). I guess Nintendo finally understood how big emulation is and instead of fighting it they now go with the flow :p...

Read more about it here ;)...

that is very nice, BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT games for free sounds a lot better than paying for the same game twice. ANNNNNNNNNND I would rather play the games on a keyboard or gamepad than on Revolution's funkedelic remote control thing.

On the other hand, tons of reliable downloads sounds good, especially if you don't have to hunt down BIOS and other junk. If they emulated dreamcast, and saturn games, it would be alot better IMO.

Revolution sounds like a good console, but I wouldn't buy it just for it's emulation capabilities.

Note: "After all, the average person would have a hard time finding a ROM of Mischief Makers for the N64."
We have that ROM here on coolROM! That is a very interesting game; lotsa cyborg shakin' violence!

Viva Le Revolution! Or something like that. Every time I read something about the Big Ns next console I start to like it better and better. Maybe they'll do something similar to what they did with the SNES in Japan ( and Sega did with the Genesis in the US ) and have a system set up where you pay a small monthly fee and get a whole hell of a lot of games that you can play on a monthly basis. I really liked that service and ended up buying a lot of the games I played because of it. Retro gaming AND next gen at the same time?
Itsa Revolutiona! ( In my best Mario voice )

LOL that would be a funny reaon to buy the console as it's true aim is to simply turn the gaming world on it's ear.

Watch Sony tell the world that their controller is a stupid idea just to come out with a knockoff one year later.
