OK first of all ill say i cant figure out even the basics of how the saving works.
i tried using the f1 f2 and f3 keys to save. i save and it works, but when i exit the game open it up later, and try to load it theres nothing there, is that because those are only quicksave, if so how do i use the mem cards. I tried using the mem cards by saving in game like you would on a regular psx, it said it saved. then i exit the program. in like an hour i go back start up the game and try to load from the in game load feature, and it says the i have no game save file on my mem card. Could someone plz help me, plz i realy wanna play these games on my comp, plz tell me wat to do. do i need to put something in the mem card folders, like an actual mem card or something?

Wow it looks like I might actually be able to help someone.

Just to quickly explain the emulator save states, F1 is save game, F2 is change slot and F3 is load game. Basically when you're in the game and you wish to save it, press F1. Then later when you open your game, wait for the game to load and press F3.

Concerning F2, this is where your problems may lie. The emulator has up to 5 save states. If you press F2, you switch your default to another state. So if you originally save your game to save state 1 and then press F2, you will then be in save state 2, where there is on data. If this happens, simply press F3 until you get back to where it was orginally saved.

As to your problem with the in game saves, I honestly do not know the answer. I have only played 4 odd games with the emualtor and they all saved in game fine. If the save state works, then you really don't need the in game save anyway. But no, you shouldn't need any extra hardware or software to save in game.

Oh and btw if I sound patronizing just let me know. I'm not used to giving people advice and I kinda have to assume you don't know anything...
