gameshark cheats not working

Hi there, my question is in pokemon sapphire i have tried to use gameshark to get pokemon.i put in the cheat and walk into the grass then the game goes back to the title screen why is it doing this thanks.

Are you sure you are using the right codes? Do you have all the Master Codes and have the codes input correctly? I would suggest downloading gameshark codes and loading those. Save you alot of time, energy and frustration.

Oh also are you using an emulator or an actual game/gameshark?

Well for that kind of hacking i use Pokemon Map editor, for Blue version, bet there's one for saphire too... ;)
