Trouble With New Pc Running Genesis Emulators

every time i try to run a genesis emulator on my new pc. IT reboots!!! WTF is that all about ? I usally use Gens32+ on my "other" computer(which isnt mine) and when i try to use it on this "newer"/"faster" one it totally reboots!!! GEEZ. Anyhelp with a different emulator or ideas would be welcome. THX

As a side note... I've been having trouble running Dark WIzard for sega CD it freezes at the title screen. THANX GUYS ... You've solved my problems once b4.:confused:

what are you computer specs?
what OS are you using and what emulator?
wich rom are you using? reboots with all?

well its windows XP and im using a 2.2 ghrtz computer w/ 512 ram i believe. it was a walmart prepackaged computer. its my new GF's.my brother told me it reboots because thats the default instruction XP gives the computer when you get the blue screen of death(ie crashes). i've tryed all sorts of genesis emulators. ZSNES and nesticle work fine though. its od thats for sure....:mad2:
