View Full Version : ZSNES - Problems when I change sounds configs

I used Windows 98 and my emulator worked very well, but I changed to Windows 2000 and now a problem appeared. I only got to execute a rom if there is no sound. When I mark the option "enable sound", my emulator simply doesn't execute the rom. So I have to unmark "enable sound" in order to emulator work.

Does someone have any idea of what to do ?

Please, if you know something about this, help me.

Thanks !!!

I don't know much, but I know one thing: Changing your operating system changes a lot about your PC, and the way you might have done it may have resulted in some kind of change of your sound card, sound driver, or some other factor that might have lead to sound being disabled.

have you tried to install the latest direct x?

Hell, see, I didn't know DirectX was used for SNES emulation.

Yes, I had already installed direct x 8.1. Zsnes needs, at least direct x 8.0 . I really don't know what to do now.

I'm thinking of installing direct X again.
