OK I have both that are on the site and i have Final Fantasy VI What keys do i push to do what buttens? like ab xy

Default controls for ZSNES are:

B = Z
A = X
Y = A
X = S

Up, Down, Left and Right are as they are.

L is D?
R is C?

I think start is Enter

Try those.

Unless it's another emulator, then I don't know the controls

about zsnes do i have to type the hold file name to open it?

It does not bring up your files you have to type it in

Just click in folders until you find your file, it should save the folder where it is on the open screen next time you load it.

Edit: Hmm, Mine works fine. Try copy-pasting until it's sorted?

Ctrl-C to copy, Ctrl-V to paste.
