I'm just throwing this out there.
If you want to trade between current GBA versions of Pokemon, simply use VBA Link, located here (http://www.vbalink.info/) This site has the most current version as well as some nice faqs concerning linking with the VBAL.
If you want to trade between old GBC/GC games that are not supported by VBAL, like Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow ect, simply use TGB Dual, located here (http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/gameboy/tgbdual.html) I noticed many people asking how to trade between different pokemon games. Well, now you know.
Note: Both of these emulators support trade either through a LAN network or just one PC. I am also planning on udating this thread with the details of how to trade between TGB Dual, but its something I am still researching.
