All NES emulators should work just fine. The one I have heard one user say was the best, in his opinion, was NNNesterJ, which can be downloaded here:

One more question, which emilator for the Sega genesis do you suggest? Fusion? Gens? Gens32?
(yes, i'm also downloading a genesis emulator.)

Don't worry, man. I hardly emulate anything other than N64 anymore, though that will certainly change when Winter Break comes. From my experience, the Gens emulator should work just fine. Go ahead and download that. I was able to play Streets of Rage on it with chaos master via NetPlay, so it should work.

Try out different emulators to see their compatibility with different games. Switching betweeng Project64, 1964, and Mupen64 will usually get you somewhere good.

Yes Gens will work great. But Kega Fusion is the best, so id suggest getting that.

Look, people, I'll say it right here:
Project64 SUCKS!!!
That is all. Project64's core is just as powerful as 1964, Nemu64, and Mupen64. Apparently, some idiot decided to pick one of the four and call it the best just because most of the other consoles have a best emulator, just because of PJ64's gfx plugin. The emulator is WAY overestimated; it sucks compared to the others combined, and I have proof for that. Challenge me, and I'll show you.
Edit: What ****es me off even more is how everybody wants the PJ64 1.7 beta. "Oh, when it's released, it's going to completely make all the other emulators obsolete!" So sad that everyone who's too lazy to bother fix graphics issues they sometimes even hate downloads the wrong emulator the whole time in a pathetic attempt to fix the problem. "Ooh! Project64 can't play Taz Express! How can I get it to work on PJ?" "You need to use Mupen64 or Nemu64." "EEEEWWW! Mupen64 and Nemu64 suck, because they aren't rated five-starts like PJ64! **** that, then, I guess I just don't feel like fixing it anymore!" **** the stereotyping, people, and stop spreading misinformation across the Internet....

I wasn't complaining about its name, I was complaining about how everyone thinks it's the best emulator when there is no best Nintendo 64 emulator.

compared to the others combined
Combined, yes, U say it Urself right there. I don't want to use 10 different emulators, I want to use one.

Combined, yes, U say it Urself right there. I don't want to use 10 different emulators, I want to use one.Alright, fine. Makes sense to me.
BUT, if you want to reason it that way, tell me one game, just one game, that works better on Project64 than any other emulator. If you can name two games, then I'll be impressed.
Edit: But, God, Kameo, you make switching between multiple emulators sound hard or something. I have it set up so it's almost as quick as opening a shortcut to a specific emulator directly, so it should be pretty much just as fast and worth the extra emulation improvement.
