Hi guys !!! I used Windows 98 and my emulator worked very well, but I changed to Windows 2000 and now a problem appeared. I only got to execute a rom if there is no sound. When I mark the option "enable sound", my emulator simply doesn't execute any rom. So I have to unmark "enable sound" in order to emulator work. But, we agree. It's awful to play without sound. so ...
I have already installed direct X 8.1, because Snes ask for direct X 8.0, but it didn't solve the problem.

I really don't know what to do anymore.

Does anyone have any idea of what to do ?

Please, if you know something about this, help me.

Thanks !!!

Yes, I'm sure the sound card is selected.
Take a look. when I take the emulator windows version, I get sound, but the games keep slow. So I took the DOS version, so ... the problem appears.

and now ?

...Maybe reinstall your sound card drivers?

It sounds like installing Windows 2000 changed something about your sound card drivers or something that caused it to not work.
