I don't know about Photoshop animator at all, but you can export your work as animated GIF's in Macromedia Flash (preferably MX)

Excellent! Thank you, somebody, for understanding the infamous Jasc Animation Shop. Look at what it did to my avatar (ignore the snow). I film movies of parts of games, GIF animations, and other optimized works all through this software. If you want music in your animations, you cannot use Animation Shop. What I do is I use Animation Shop to save animations as AVI, import them into Windows Movie Maker (comes with XP) along with the sound, and you have yourself a movie. (I think of an animation as a movie without sound.)

Image Ready blows Animation Shop away.

Never heard of it. But can I say that Animation Shop blows Image Ready away if I've never even tried Image Ready? At least you didn't say photoshop for imaging (I know it doesn't animate), though I hear Adobe and Jasc are both good at imaging. I prefer Jasc.

That's where we differ. I've been using BOTH animation programs for a little over a year and Image Ready can just do much more. All animation shop is good for are "preset" animations.
"right click, add this animation" and that's it..
Image Ready gives you more freedom to make more then just the noobish settings Animation Shop comes with.

You can do that (right-click) in Animation Shop! Oh, why not forget about it? Obviously, you may have missed some things in that software. But I'm telling you, if you right-click, paste as new animation, you inserted an animation! You can also paste multiple images copied as files from Windows Explorer in there. But forget about it. I'll bet you might say Image-Ready does that too. I'm sure it does.

It sure can. I bet ya that a majority of "good" animators will tell ya Image Ready is better then Animation Shop

That I disagree with. Check out the avatars link in my signature: I made all of them with Jasc Animation Shop. Look at the six medallions. See the light shine right through them? That's not something I just copied and pasted; Jasc Animation shop's stained glass effect did that. If you really know about using that software and you think it's so good, why don't you post some avatars your animation software can make? Just follow the posting rules, or at least I'd prefer it if you did.

Hah.. that's **** EASY with Animation Shop. I've done that with a preset function with AS when I FIRST tried it years ago. That's just those standard plugin effects. :D
Animation Shop is just for effects made by its filter use. Even Image Ready can put a premade animation or multilpe ones no a canvas. But I prefer to go further by making my own custom made ones, not just splapping an ALREADY made animation on a canvas. And I despise AS's plugin/filter style of animations. But that's just me. Ah well.

You liar! I can tell by the exact same file size and the URL of that animation. You copied that animation off of me; you didn't make it yourself. If you did, you would have equaled Image Ready.
Look, let's just say both are good. OK?

Dude.. I didn't say I went ahead and made it.. I was making sure you were talking about that effect. THAT one you made is **** EASY with Animation Shop. You just right click and "add effect". It's a BASIC plugin dude.. anyone can do it with a few clicks.
What I am saying, is I can install Animation Shop and create the SAME effect with little effort.. anyone can actually. Just basic plugin effects is all Animation Shop is good for. Or I can put it this way "the easy effects".. heh.;)
Look, let's just say both are good. OK?
You can say that but I know AS is for plugin effects and IR gives you much more control. Anywho.

chaos master, you are acting really gullible. Just cute, you know? No, he copied off of me. You think he didn't just because he said it was easy to do himself? Uh, did it ever occur to you the possibility that he lied? It's impossible to make that animation without dumping the textures using a special N64 plugin! AcidGlow, you lied. Besides, the animation was the EXACT same as mine. I added a yellow pixel somewhere in mine, and it conviniently showed up on yours to. CM, if you don't start looking for evidence, people are going to rip you off and lie to you a lot in life. Be just a little more cynical. Dude.. I didn't say I went ahead and made it.. I was making sure you were talking about that effect. THAT one you made is **** EASY with Animation Shop. You just right click and "add effect". You can say that but I know AS is for plugin effects and IR gives you much more control. Anywho. As I just said, you lied. You have no experience with Animation Shop, or else you would know that you don't just click "Add Effect" to just add the Stained Glass effect. That's stupid! You have no experience with Animation Shop, but I do, and I changed my mind. It's better than Image Ready. I may not have experience with Image Ready, and that's why I said BOTH were good before, but you just like to argue, and the way you do it, you make Image Ready sound like **** to me if you think things are that easy in Animation Shop. You know you have to select which of the 60 effects before applying it, and you just cheaply skip that.
You can configure effects in Animation Shop. Animation Shop is better; you're just not smart enough to use it.
There is no "add effect" option when you right click Animation Shop. If you can't make that animation I just made above, you are lying about everything you say now or else you'd make it with Image Ready if Image Ready is so good. If you're going to lie to me, you can't do it. In fact, I think you're lying about Image Ready. Those aren't basic plugins; they are advanced plugins.
I'm finished arguing with you; this is quite stupid.
