Okay, wth happened to The Zelda games?!

What happened to the Legend of Zelda games? I was going to download Majora's mask, nintendo 64, and it wasn't there! I swear I saw it there before! :eek:

zelda as well as other titles such as mario and donkey kong are protected by law

Yes, I have removed the two Zelda titles from our N64 recently simply because I forgot to remove them earlier. Sorry about teasing you with that ;) but the ESA had asked us to remove Zelda titles a couple of months ago, and wish to avoid any conflict with them.

Yea, U don't want the ESA on Ur roof. There's a few exceptions to the rule though, the Zelda Games for Nintendo's satellite system R legit. Nintendo can't broadcast these Games again and very likely never will, besides that they never made them any money. Then there's also the Zelda and Mario Games for the Philips CD-I, those R perfectly legit as well because they got licensed by other companies, they will never be re-released and CD-I isn't ESA protected, those R the only Zelda and Mario Games that can be distributed freely ;)...

You can still find them on other sites, can't tell you which ones, but if you go to enough rom sites you will most likely come across them.
