No cd drive which can be used

I'm having trouble with getting ssf to run,i keep getting an error where there
is no usable cd drives.Do dvd drives work or am i out of luck?

are you trying to use rom or the real cd???

you need a vurtual drive like deamon tool to run it on a emu

Will the virtual drive need to be empty or do i need to mount the iso of the rom i
want to run?

You have to mount it to run the Rom.

How will that get ssf to recognise a usable cd drive?

Because a virtual drive acts like a real drive, Ur PC can't tell the difference, it got no brain :p .....

Well it seems that ssf is extremely super intelligent as it won't run even with virtual drives.Am i the only one with this problem or are my hopes of getting ssf to work dashed?
