I think Kit was just being sarcastic, but what about the games? Would you say that, if you were a millionaire, the PS3 would be worth getting at least for the games? Or is Sony itself just so evil that it just doesn't sound worth it for any amount of money (except negative values to pay)?

Really, though, a lot of Kameo's listed 'events' are actually things that other people are saying about Sony instead of actual screw-ups (and I do take into account that he is not the list author). Stereotypes from what it sounds, but I could be wrong.

Now, I'm no Sony gamer, as I don't own a PSX, PS2 or PS3. I am, at least relatively, a Microsoft gamer, ever since after I've finished N64 gaming, but from what I'm hearing, it sounds that Sony is really screwing up. But could it be the news reporters? Their perceptions? Is there something important missing? Maybe there is a lot of misunderstanding, then again, maybe Sony has just suddenly somehow turned into an arrogant company and changes in staff have just lead to ****iness. Could be possible.

But, it mostly sounds like misunderstanding, and whoever this Third Party is, is probably spreading rumors or very wrongly judging Sony. Or, somebody has a grudge.

People at school that were all for PS3 months before are now Wii addicts. Good gravy. Xbox 360 is generally out of the spotlight but is respected nonetheless.

if i was super-rich and the ps3 was still available, i'd buy it just for call of duty 3. looks sweet.

Why PS3? On Call of Duty 3, Xbox 360 has already beat PS3, in smoothness, color, and lighting. Sounds like the real beauty is on the 360.

I played it on 360. Umm it's good. If you want better graphics, you probably should just get a better (bigger) TV, maybe with progressive scan.

Well, a lot of the people who bought PS3s are trying to trade for Wiis. There are still Wii owners who want PS3s, but a lot of people don't like their PS3s for whatever reason. As for the games, A lot of the multiconsole games are going to be better on 360, so I heard. (Grand Theft Auto 4 for example, having 360-exclusive downloads.) Though Devil May Cry 4 looks alright, Final Fantasy XIII looks alright but will probably have even less gameplay than Final Fantasy X, with 80 hours of cinematics. Metal Gear Solid 4, Oblivion PS3 and Gran Turismo 5 will probably be some of the PS3's good-selling games. I would say Unreal Tournament 2007 too, but UT games generally play better on PC so we'll have to see for that one.

But for the people who hate Sony, don't think Sony will go out of business, or even come close. Thousands of people will still buy PS3s, just because they like Sony's products.

Though, I find this odd, but according to Games Master magazine (UK version at least.) it says that Sony loses $307 for every PS3 sale. And Nintendo gains $57 for every Wii sale. If it's true about Sony losing money, that MAY have been the reason for cutting back on the number of PS3s released and delaying the Europe release date.

if i was a millionaire i'd own an alienware pc. pc gaming is, regrettably better than console gaming but unfortunately is easily 2x as expensive. but hey, free online pla and of course, emulation!!

You don't have to have a high-end PC to emulate. Or even have a video card.
All online PC gaming isn't free. The best online gaming (imo) is XBL but it's not free. Paying for XBL is well worth it, every penny. Online gaming on the PS2 was nearly non-existent. Gamecube was non-existent. I think there was two games that were online for gamecube. Not worth the purchase of the adapter to do so.

I doubt that. It was more likely due to production problems. They knew they were going to lose money when they designed the PS3. What Sony was basically riding on was the fact that the PS2 was such a big hit that everyone would basically run out and buy PS3's like they were going out of style along with the games. Thats where Sony was going to make up its loses was with the games, however since PS3's arn't selling as well as they were hoping they are losing a ton of money and actually losing atm.

Maybe they will come back when they get enough games on it to actually start moving the PS3 but I dont really see that happening to soon. Especially sicne a TON of PS3 exculsives are going over to the 360 also. There are probably only two reasons for this. First, Microsoft could be paying them money to make it multiplatform. Second, and quite possibly the biggest reason, since Sony isnt selling PS3's as expected they are making it multiplatformed so that the developers can actually get money back on it. I hope that Devil May Cry or Final Fantasy end up on the Xbox someday. Besides the FFXI that is.

Really I think Sony got to cocky, and ended up killing their game system. Sony might be going the way of Sega. Which is fine by me because I like playing the 360 alot more than PS. Another thing about the PS3 is that they no longer have a rumble feater for their controllers. Sure the Si-axis is cool and all, but who cares about that if it dosn't rumble? I mean really if an explosion happens beside me I want to atleast feel something. Alos the 360 might be coming out with a si-axisish/wiish controller sometime. Nothing official has been said but I read in EGM, Electronic Gaming Monthly, that Microsoft wanted to make a controller like that and ship them with Halo 3. Only time will tell though.

(sorry for editing, dude. But I'm having some problems reading such long texts, it makes it dance in front of my eyes, kinda hard to read. :p )

Regardless what these so called "experts" think, I'll make my own decision thanks very much.

I think the PS3 will win the console wars. Just wait until those delicious JRPG's and the "God's of War's"-type games to come out. Right now it sucks, only because there's no good games.

Wait 1 year, year and half maybe.

.... Considering most game makers hate the idea of making games on it... I think not. They will get a few good games but overall, publishers hate taking the extra time to make high-end games when they can use other systems games much cheaper who are on a grand scale doing better in sales charts.
Don't get me wrong like I said they won't get out of business but they won't win this gen it seems...
