ssf desperation.

I've been desperately trying to get ssf working (see "no cd drive which can be used") but it won't recognise any cd drives,virtual or otherwise and it refuses to recognise dvd drives either.losing hope of getting guardian heroes working properly (cassini doesn't seem to let it past the intro),is there anyone who can help?:(

I don't know anything about Casini, but are you sure the file types are right? That sounds like something meaning that that sort of thing can't be mounted, or, if it can, something else might not be set up right. Also make sure there's no glitches with that version of the emulator, or the game itself. Just try that 'til somebody good gets here. :p

I currently have ssf_006_alpha as all the other version i've tried come up wtih some error (not sse2 error).Also what are the emulation option for daemon tools for anyway?

alpha? Like an alpha version? as in, with lots of bugs? Unless they think they're being creative using the word alpha, it's probably just a buggy version. Try finding a normal version of the emulator. They have alphas, which usually are messed up, beta where almost everything is fixed, and this is just the double checking, and then the final release, a gamma or sorts. Try finding an official release. Again, until a Cassini person gets here and tells me I'm retarded.

Try a few different versions, it should be reading your drives just fine.
