Metal Slug Help

Can anyone tell me where i can find a metal slug that works for kawaks 1.55 any metal slug i download the rom file then i move it into my neo geo folder but when i rescan the games it dosent pop up in the available box but when i did it with my marvel vs capcom and marvel vs street fighter they poped up.

As I am not sure about running the Metal Slugs with Kawaks, I am sure that they work NeoRAGEx. Give that a try.

U must have the NeoRage ROMz instead of the MAME ones then, I suggest U get rid of those as NeoRage is an outdated piece of crap. Wait for me to have the MAME versions uploaded and then delete them, same goes for the CPS1, CPS2 and Namco System 22 ROMz, got it all covered in the MAME set I'm uploading right now ;).

On a side note, I just had a look at the ROM section, looks great ;)...

Metal Slugs do indeed work with kawaks, some of them need a loader though.

Only Metal Slug 5 needs a loader which I no longer have. I deleted it after I downloaded the original MAME versions but since Kawaks uses the MAME set U probably will have to wait for Kawaks to have MS5 added in version 1.56. In the meanwhile U can run it just fine in MAME :)...

I needed it for 4 aswell. Ive had some wierd problems though with the metal slug roms. Mame plus use to recognize Mslug5, but one day it just stopped reading it. So I moved it over to Kawaks, which I already used a loader for Mslug 4. Mslug 5 then worked and 4 didnt. Then I moved 4 to mame plus and it worked in there which it didnt use to.

I no longer have the loaders or the ROMz, everything that needed a loader is now officially added to MAME, I had no reason to keep the loaders or the bootlegged ROMz. Wait for Razoola to add them in Kawaks or DL MAME32++ if U want to play online. That too supports them ;)...

Yeah I think I have screwy rom files. But they work though now and thats all I care about :).

Download NeoGeo.zip Bios, i had the same problem until just a little while ago when I downloaded these files. It doesn't have to be a NeoGeo.zip bios specifically for Kawaks, the MAME one works too.
Do a google search on the file, download it to your Rom folder under your Kawaks folder.
