U don't need the BIOS to play DS Games, just DL any of these three Dualis (http://dualis.1emulation.com/)
DeSmuME (http://www.desmume.com/) iDeaS (http://spazioinwind.libero.it/linoma/ideas.html) get Urself a bunch of ROMz, extract them and make sure their extentions read .nds as anything else won't be read by the emulators :) .....

Most DS emulators do not work well at the moment. The ROMs will either work or they won't. The biggest use for DS ROMS is for use with Nintendo DS flash cards, which lets you actually play the ROM using the Nintendo DS hardware. I have an M3 perfect, and have yet to play an NDS or GBA rom that doesn't work with it. Plus playing the ROM on your NDS is way better since you can use the stylus. I think some flash cards do require installing bios on them, so maybe that is the confusion about bios.

Not to mention you can run tons of free homebrew stuff, watch movies and listen to music. If you have a Nintendo DS, I recommend you invest in a flash card to play ROMs.

This is what I want to do.
What exactly will I need to be able to do this on my DS (Fat style).
I would like to have some links to goto, but if thats not possible, then just the names of everything I need to purchase so I can do this right the first time.

again, thanks guys!!XD yeah getting the real deal aint a bad idea.

From what I've seen, most the emulators at this point are only compatible with demo versions of the games. Probably gonna be quite a while before that fact changes.
