Well thats a good question but since there are tons of emus which all work very differently i will need to know what exact emu you need help with which games to.

drag the rom onto the emulator icon
or search the emulator for a load menu
what emu is it?

if its ZSNESW then it might be a little bit hard (thats the first one i started with and it took like 2 hours for me to figure out hot to load a damn rom)

Generally under the File drop menu, you wil want to look for something to the effect of "Load Game Rom" or "Load Game Image".

some emulators can play games while still in .rar or .zip format. Some cannot. If the game is not playing for you try unzip/unrar-ing it and then load the rom.
