I've never tried to make my own pizza, but from the other things I have tried to cook, my pizza wouldn't be very good.
Do they have papa johns in where you are from? Its the best of the best pizza. Its not frozen though, its a franchise in the US.

Pizza is easy to make and it taste a hell of a lot better when you make it yourself. First the dough.
3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup warm water (between 95° and 115° F.)
2 T yeast (2 tablespoons, I like my dough a little yeasty. You can use less)
2 T honey
1/4 cup EXTRA VIRGIN ( Remember that. Its important. )olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt
First put your water in a good sized bowl. The water should be about 85 to 115° F. Test it with your hand. It should feel very warm, but comfortable. Add the honey and salt. Mix until well blended. Add the yeast and mix. Let this sit for about 5 minutes. Add 1 cup of flour and the olive oil and mix well. Add the rest of the flour (and any other additions) and mix well. The dough should turn into a ball. If the dough does not ball up because it's too dry, add water one tablespoon at a time until it does. If your mixture is more like a batter, add flour one tablespoon at a time. Adding water or flour as needed to get the right consistency will assure you always get a perfect dough. Just remember to do it in small amounts.
Once the dough is balled up, place the ball on a floured board and knead for about a minute. This helps the dough to rise and become fluffy when cooked. Place the dough in a plastic grocery bag or a covered bowl. Drizzle a little (Just a little )Extra virgin olive oil on top and store in a warm, dry area to rise.
After about 45 minutes the dough should have about doubled in size. Act like you're Mario and its Kupa and punch it down. That's right, give it a good smack so it deflates. Let it rise for another hour to an hour and a half. The dough is now ready to be rolled out. You can punch the dough down one more time if you want and wait another hour or two before rolling out. The choice is yours. If you prefer, instead of rolling it out, you can make the dough look like a hamburger, hold it by its edges and keep rotating it, letting its own weight flatten it out until you've got a nice shape going. it'll take a couple of mins but it keeps little air pockets that way and I think it cooks better.
The sauce is even easier. Just get a couple of ripe tomatoes. Two or three depending on size. Smash 'em up in a bowl and add a little extra virgin olive oil (just a little, maybe half a table spoon. A little more or less either way to taste. ) some fresh basil and some freshly ground ( or a pinch of regular ) black pepper. And that's it. Easy right? Of course you can always add some other things in like oregano or crushed red pepper, lime or what ever suits you best. Top with cheese and what ever and, wala! You've got pizza! and remember, its your pizza. Do what you want in the way of toppings and the basic sauce! You'll make a couple of stinkers experimenting but what the hell, you'll have fun doing it.
I recommend getting a pizza stone. Just go to Home Depo ( Or any home improvement store ) and buy a flat stone about half an inch high. Round or square it doesn't matter just make sure its big enough to cook your pizza but not to big for your stove. Thats a hell of a lot cheaper than you'd pay for a "Pizza Stone" and its the same damn thing. Rub a little olive oil on it ( just a little on a rag or paper towel) and heat it up for an hour or too as hot as your oven gets before you use it the first time. When your ready to use it heat it up in your oven for at least a half hour to 45 Min's. Get it nice and hot. At least 400 or so, then put a little corn meal on its surface to keep the pizza from sticking to it, put your pizza on top, slide in the oven and cook until bottom is brown( If its not brown its not done) and the center is nice and bubbly. Pull it out, cut it up and enjoy!
I voted for DiGiorno's by the way. If you're feeling lazy a frozen pizza can fill the hole as well as anything else.

Nice recipe, but the honey isn't necessary. I don't like my dough sweet, I i like it a bit salty.
I'm also used to cook my tomatoes into a sauce instead of just mashing it. I don't like the tomato skin in my food, so I carve a little cross on them and hold them in boiling water for a minute or something, just long enough to be able to peel of its skin easily. Cut into small pieces and cook it, don't add water to it, just add a little salt and turn on the heat,
U can create a good roux using 30Gr butter, 40Gr flour. Melt the butter in a warm pan, don't let it turn brown, just let it melt so it's best not to turn up the heat too high. Then add the flour slowly while U stir it with a wooden spoon. Once it starts sticking together, take it off the heat, keep stirring it. Eventually (a minute later orso), the flour and butter will become a little ball and shouldn't stick to the bottom of Ur pan what so ever. Add a little concentrated tomato paste to it, and stir it until it's equally red.
The roux serves the purpose of binding Ur sauce, this makes a nice thick sauce instead of a watery one :).
U can also use this roux as a base for soup, in such a case add 1Ltr. of bouillon to it, but only add the tomato paste to it if U R making tomato soup ;).
Once the roux is done keep adding water to it and keep stirring it, add enough water to make it sauce like. Then add the peeled cooked tomatoes to it, add a little salt and pepper and herbs of choice, and cook it into a sauce. If the sauce is too thick just add a little water, if it's too watery just cook it thicker ;).
Ur tomato sauce is now done :)...

The best thing about a simple basic recipe is that you can add or subtract ingredients (and ways of preparing them ) to fit your personal taste. I also like to make breakfast pizza-Sausage, eggs, peppers onion and a blend of cheeses for the toppings-- and just use the dough recipe, cook the dough and then add the ingredients after. Put it back in the oven just long enough to melt the cheese, sprinkle some hot sauce on it( Or not ) and you've got a nice little breakfast treat.
I've also got about four different way's to cook chili, a whole bunch of ways to alter a pasta sauce and I'm still coming up with new marinades for beef and pork. *Sigh* The only bad part about cooking is all of the working out you have to do just so you don't turn into a ball of blubber after all of that good eating.
Oh, by the way, I'm glad to see someone else who isn't afraid to use butter
( the BEST for cooking! Accept no substitutes! ) and even knows the word Roux let alone a use for it. The Roux and the "trinity" -onion, celery and bell pepper-are the start of so many great foods my mouth starts watering just thinking about it.

You guys ever had a pizza from a place called Papa Murphys? They dfefnitly have one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted. What they do is make and top the pizza in front of you, then you take it home and bake it, sounds weird huh? but it is good!!
Another great place to eat pizza is Sbarros, dang I wish I had a slice of that now...
