[Fixed]i have a problem with my pc

my dumb little brother erased my cd rom drive does anybody know how i can reinstall it without using a disk i have a ton of games on a disk and i want to play them thanx again im eternally thankful:)

You can usually download the drivers at the manufactuers website. Just download the drivers and reinstall them

This is a Simple fix that either works or doesn't.

Power down your PC, remove the plug, remove and unplug your CDROM.

Plug in, boot up.

Shut Down Windows, Remove plug and put the CDROM back in.

Power up and you Windows should bring up the "Found New Hardware" wizard.

You should be able just to use add hardware command and have it detect while running. If connect to internet make sure it can use windows update.
