It all over the net today, Richard "Dampe"; one of the persons who was creating Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time 2D, has died. He was apparently killed in a auto accident.
I just thought some of you may want to know this. The announcement was made by an Admin at the OoT2D Forums, here is a quote or two:
"I'm here to inform everyone of a terrible loss.
Yesterday, around 4:00pm, I received a phone call telling me that Richard (Dampe) has been in a fatal car accident.
I'm not feeling up to explaining detail of the accident, and how it happened, I'm just here to notify everyone since his family would be devastated, and his brother probably wouldn't want to explain the loss to a bunch of guys on the net.
Maybe if you wanted to show respect, and make him proud, leave a R.I.P Dampe or something in your sigs/msn/aim/whatever.
Just an idea.
Sorry everyone."
"Unfortunatley, On March 21st, We lost our great man, Richard (Dampe)
The official police record has read that Richard was hit by a car that
had swurved on the wet road, the car WAS NOT speeding. Richard was knocked unconcious and shortly after passed away.
His last words to be known were to his trusting girlfriend when he was walking home from her house "I love you" with a great smile on his face.
Richard's family are having a tough time, as well as his friends, but we've all come to realise that there is a time in everyone's lives where you must move on.
I'm sure all of his close friends from the net (Christo, Monkeydog, Tani) and whoever else, also need to move on.
Everyone has there time to live, And everyone dies one day. The worst thing you can do is to not move on.
I thank all of you for your support and caring. I will be locking this topic after this post, And this will be the end of Dampe's "Oot2D." I suggest anyone wanting to stay in a community, move to http://www.monkeypro.net, Monkeydog has a great community, and he was also hosting Dampe's site.

I was very Sad to hear this, I dont really know what to say...
Rest in Peace, and may your friends and family find comfort somewhere in their hearts to help them through this.
