I miss Windows 98. The Windows OSes get more presumptuous each release.

"Spend less time fixing ****-ups and enjoy a faster, more ****ed-up online experience with Windows Vista."

Damn viruses....

I would switch to Linux if I didn't share this computer with my family.

"Never change a working system!" - Bill Gates

I have changed to WinXP SP2 when there was no support of DirectX for Win98 SE anymore. So it must have been a year ago and nearly everything works out fine. I'm wondering when the DirectX support for XP ends... :D

If I can remember correctly the ending of 2008 or the beginning of 2009 that is just what I read on a computer website. Althought it could be sooner or later it just depends on microsoft.

Yea Vista is buggy and it doesn't run quite much games... :(
No GTA:SA, Dark Messiah or Oblivion IV, just Prince of Persia: WW, so i think we have to wait for more Vista games to come out! :)

All of those games work except Dark Messiah. In fact most everything works now. Vista isn't as bad as most people say.

Talking about games windows XP Home runs Doom 95, Quake 2, and Hexen 2...

So most games should be backwards compadble with Windows Vista...

There's software to make vista feel just like windows xp and remove all the unnecessary security questions, and whatnot... and to disable needing to make EVERY application 'run as administrator'..
