I was wondering if anyone knew how to burn the virtua fighter 2 rom for the sega saturn? I dl'd it and when I opened it, I noticed that it is missing the .iso file which you need to make a cue after converting the song files from mp3 to wav.

I haven't burned Virtua Fighter 2 to a CD(as i have the commerical CD) but I have burned several dozen ROMS from this site onto a CD and played them on my modded saturn. First off, find yourself a copy of sega cue maker. try here http://www.segaxtreme.net/misc/software.html
Then, make sure your Image file is in the proper region code for your saturn. You can use a saturn region patcher (i think i got mine here http://madroms.free.fr/#SRP)
Racketboy has a wonderful site explaining the whole thing. Check it out here

A few problems I did run into: Most saturn ROMS are in ISO/MP3/CUE format. The ISO is the game, MP3's are the audio tracks, and the CUE sheet tells NERO (the program I used to burn images) what order to burn everything in. Some roms are in BIN/CUE format. If the sega cue maker won't make a correct cue sheet for BIN/CUE, you can edit it mannualy using wordpad(or notepad) All you have to do is make sure the filename in the CUE sheet mathces your ISO filename. I.E., The ISO file maybe named "Virtua_Fighter_2" and the ISO filename may be "Virtua Fighter 2" Just make sure they match, it doesn't matter which one your change. Once everything is correct, use NERO to open the CUE sheet under "burn image" Consult racketboys site for more info. Suffice it to say, it does work, I have about 45 games burned from ROMS on theis site and they all play fine. Also, if your image burned correct, you will be able to read the contents of the CD in windows explorer and see a bunch of files on it. Hope that helps!!!

Hey, thanks for the advice. I guess I should have mentioned that I have already burned a lot of these games and I know the process and all (guess it would have saved you a lot of time for typing :) ). But with VF2 its like there is no ISO only a bin and cue, but I can't use the cue because I have to convert the mp3s to wav which means you have make a whole new cue. Unless there's a way to make it work with mp3s or another way?

I never had to check, becuase the saturn I bought from ebay came with VF2. I looked at the ROM contents that I downloaded from Coolrom. Seems SegaCueMaker will only do ISO or RAW, but NOT .BIN. I was able to use UltraISO to convert the BIN file into a ISO. Then SegaCueMaker gave me
FILE "Virtua Fighter 2.iso" BINARY *you will need to change this line if you haven't converted the BIN to ISO format using UltraISO. Also, delete this message before burning :-)*

as the Cue sheet. If your cd burning software will burn a BIN image, you will just have to copy and paste this into a notepad document and save it as a .cue extension. (Virtua Fighter 2.cue) You will have to change the filename at the top to either Virtua Fighter 2.bin, or Virtua Fighter 2.iso, depending on if you converted it to ISO first. Try usiing that cue sheet and the BIN file first. If it doesn't work, hunt down a copy of UltraISO(you will need a registered version)You will HAVE to use the saturn region patcher if you want to play it on a US saturn. The one from Coolrom (like many others from the site) Is coded as E for europe. hope that helps!!!!!
