oh, and I know how you feel, savking. Sometimes, all the games around me bore me and I wonder if I'm losing my touch; but the feeling eventually subsides.

A 2-year-old beating Super Mario Bros. 3.....that's scary!!!!!!! You shoulda been in the newspaper for that. Many people now can't do it.

No 2 year old finishes Mario Bros. 3, they don't even make it to the end of the first level. I've let my cousins play 1000's of Games and besides the ones for MAME (unlimited coins is unlimited continues) they can't finish any of them.
Oh, I've been playing since I was 6, that's 23 years ago ;)...

I've been playing for 16 years now. Since I was two. My favorite game was super mario bros 3 and it still is now. Man what a game that is.
I've probably been playing since I was four, maybe five. :D

Hmmm, my first system - coleco vision... I have a picture of myself playing with the roller controller back when I was about 2.... yea... 2 years old.
So 20 years of gaming.

Damn, people. How can you play when you are 2 years old? It's so absurd. I played like anyone else when I was 6 or 7. Before you beat Super Mario 64, it was a terribly fun game.

I did beat it when I was 2, I swear! I sorta cheated though, I used whistles to skip levels. I was sort of a genius when I was little. I started kindergarten early and everything. I think I was able to read when I was two too...anyhow, if you don't believe me, I don't care. I know in my mind I am telling the truth...yes Iconoclast, Mario 64 is very fun while you are playing it the first time. It isn't as fun later, after you know all the secrets, but it still has some fun....

I was a smarty-pants as a wee tot, as well. As a Gemini, I crave mental stimulus. So, my house (pretty much my world back then) was pretty boring by itself. I taught myself to read and read pretty much everything I could get my hands on, and THEN I saw my mom's NES. From then on, rule no. 1 was "The NES is god." I would spend hours playing it and I would outdo anyone else in my family at Super Mario Bros. and Top Gun and F-1 Ferrari and Bigfoot. It was like an interactive cartoon. Also, I watched many cartoons, so I got used to story elements and whatnot......

I was better than everybody at Mario 3. My mom was better than me at everthing else, and just as good as me at mario 3, almost anyways... my dad just plain sucked. He got upset one day when he was playing zelda, b/c he couldn't find a stiarcase because you had to push a block. he just generally sucks. I tried teaching him kirby air ride, but he couldn't do that either. There are only two buttons taht do anything, a, and the control stick. control stick moves, it accelerates by itself, and anythign else you want to do, press A! He couldn't get it....

yes, Sonic Riders uses that formula, as well. It does have more buttons that do stuff, though. It can be confusing at first, but you must master it!

I never even heard of sonic riders. although, i'm much poorer now, I haven't gotten a new video game since December 5, 2005....

i haven't gotten a new game since Christmas...I think maybe I'll buy Driver:Parallel Lines tomorrow just for the heck of it....let's see what they have to say for themselves... although my ROM collection can entertain me seemingly indefinitely, and I can always go to newgrounds (now that I know how to save the flashes, it's even better.)

You can not only do that with flashe files, but with pretty much anything. After figuring out how to steal Flash files, I was hooked. Now I steal programs, pictures, videos, whatever I want. Before I knew it I was robbing stores and eating baby's brains...anyhoo, yeah stealing is fun. Digital stealing anyways....
chaos master
06-10-2006, 11:56 PM
you shouldn't steal, FD. I don't know if copying a flash that has the creator's name on it and stuff is stealing..... I use a program called Flash Favorite. It is way easier than anything you could cook up....
Fierce Deity
06-11-2006, 12:56 AM
huh? I make HTML files to steal flash files. I didn't know that had programs for it...why would you need one if you can just make a simple little HTML for it? You don't need a program, lol... I use the same method to steal videos. Your program might make it slightly easier, but I can steal video and such with mine too. I use a different method for getting programs and computer games though....
Yes, taking flash files is considered stealing of intellectual property, unless they say they want no credit and anybody can just take it and download it, etc....
After I take the flash files, I use dreamweaver and put them into a web page. So I have this page with all these flash games so that I can play them offline....

Title should be "How LONG have you played vg?" but anyho...
I guess, well I think, I was 7. The first game has got to be that Duck Hunt/SMB game. Good times, I sucked so everyone liked playing against me. Now they'll scream in a fit of rage when I whoop them at Mario Kart.

I was horrible at duck hunt for a while. I would aim the gun, and then not understand why the dog laughed at me. I didn't get anywhere near what could be considered good at that game until I was like 7. Now, I am good at most everything. Except XBOX. The controller is shaped like a foot.

Since I was six. I remember my cousins( who were around 13 or 14 ) came over with their NES, and we would all play Super Mario Bros. III. Good times... because I had nothing to do and could just goof off all day. :D
