Leave a post if you like this movie, and say one of your favorite parts if you loved it.
It's one of my favorite movies personally I liked the part when they got in to the shrimp buisness, werent doing all to well at first buth then after a storm got huge loads...and he made a billion dollar industry and renewed his lieutennants life (whom he saved after getting his legs blown off in Vietnam)

I liked the movie. .. But the Book was WAY BETTER. :D
One of my favorite parts is when he was wrestling "The Turd." -the professional wrestler that dresses up like a giant Turd. And that part where he is smoking pot behind that club him and jenny's band was playing at while getting head from a hooker, and jenny walks outside and catches him. crazy stuff.
So if you liked the movie I highly suggest reading the book, a lot more stuff happens

Forest Gump is a great movie...
The part I liked the most was when he met JFK and told him I have to pee...
Did you know there was going to be a sequel to the movie and it was going to be about Forest rising his son... But I heard Tom Hanks did not want to play Forest again... Have you heard anything about that?

Yeah. he meets quite a few presidents. JFK and Nixon looked SO real lol. I swear they wer ethe real people haha. Those were really good parts. When he shows him his *** were he got hit with a bullet? haha.
I did hear something of a sequel...
Tom Hanks played him great, I'd like to see him do it again, It would be interesting. I'd surely watch it...With a different actor it wouldnt be the same. Did they make a sequel to the book though?

Another good part...When hes running across america (way to steal the idea from one of our canadian heros lol ) And he just stops after running for a number of years in the middle of some desert area. He stops says "im tired now" and walks away meanwhile there are about 90 people behing running the whole time and they all start complaining lol.
But theres also the fact he just "starts" to run and Jenny sees him on TV and he has a huge beard lol.

"My name is Forrest Gump, people like to call me Forrest Gump."
That's pretty much my favourite line in the movie.

'' Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get next''
'' Run Forest! Run!''
'' Hello Jennie!''
My favorite part is when Forest is on his shrimp boat and sees lieutenant Dan at the docks and swims out to him ( tearjerker ) and in the background his boat smashes into the docks!

It's Still used today quite regularily. Its very true though. It may be over-used sometimes but its an innocent and blunt way of looking at life.

Oh.. I saw a really funny part in the movie, it was on just recently, and after when Forrest beats up Jenny's new boyfriend.. this is coming back from Vietnam and being introduces to the black panthers. Anyhow, Forrest beats the **** out of her new boyfriend for slapping her....
Thats funny and all...
BUT! When jenny is leaving and goes on the bus, Forrest looks at her and smiles, but then when her boyfriend catches Forrest's stare he does this hilarious glare at him! Look it up!
