I have been downloading a few sega cd games recently, but a few rar's when downloaded won't extract properly. I get Bad block error in WinAce and CRC error in WinRar. This Problem seems to happen on the larger Rar's only.
Does Cool roms validate rar's when compressed, or is this an issue that is caused through downloading? e.g data corruption
Cool Rom's, your the best...

I don't know, but everytime I have downloaded ZSNES from this site and try to extract it, it says "No files to extract" I don't know if they go a bad copy uploaded to the site, or if it is something on my end. I've been able to download it from other site fine. My guess is if you have downloaded the files more than once and still get errors, then the error is with the file that was uploaded to the site, not an error caused by downloading. I'd try to get it from another site.
I suppose there is a small chance it is saving the file to a bad sector of your harddrive. I'd run check disc and defrag too, if you don't already do so on a regular basis.
also try 7-z to extract it. I have had luck with it when winace, or winrar wouldn't work http://www.7-zip.org/
