more probs running saturn roms

I managed to change the file name on some of them and got them to load but now they only load a black screen can anyone help?Also still dont know what made them run since some i can get to and some i cant get to can anyone explain to me step by step how to change the file name and what to look for to change it to and also how to get them to run instead of the black screen after?

nvm it just wasnt compatible with the ssf I had now have most games running but would anyone know a emulator that would run astal ?
