Music Recommendations.

Recommend me some music, I'm running short. I like Most forms of metal, but it leans towards Power Metal (POWAR METULZ), but I want moar. Epic rock is also acceptable. As for what kind of lyrics, read below:

So by using this 5-second diagram you can tell what is preferred. (Regular Lyrics on top, and Growls and Instrumentals being about the same). Kickass guitar riffs/solos are a want, mainly.

Being the other POWAR METULZ-head on this forum, I should be able to help you.

I'm gonna list a few of my favourites, why I like them, and what album to start with, you may have heard of some of them.

One of my favourite power metal bands is Stratovarius. It's a finnish band that's been around for a long time. The vocalist has a terrible finnish accent some may not be able to stand, but those who do are in for a treat. The band members are all incredibly skilled at their instruments.
If you're interested, check out their "Fourth Dimension" or "Visions" album.

Machinae Supremacy is a totally awesome swedish band that combines power/heavy metal with chiptunes. Check out their webography (they have a lot of songs for download on their website, www.machinaesupremacy.com ) or the "Deus Ex Machinae" or "Redeemer" album.

Gamma Ray is a German band founded by former Helloween guitarist/singer Kai Hansen. It's pretty much traditional power metal, also kind of fast. I've recommended this band to DragonForce fans.
Try the "Land of the Free" album.

Angra is another fast power metal band that I would also recommend to DragonForce fans. I have only looked into one of their albums, "Temple of Shadows", but it's awesome.

Also, while we are recommending music, there is no way on earth that I could not recommend this one particular band to everyone and everyone...
Blaze. It's the former Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bayley's new band, and all their albums, including the live album, are completely and utterly awesome, and exceed the quality of his two albums with Maiden by far.
It is not a power metal band, it's more like traditional heavy metal with a modern edge.

I'm gonna find some stuffs to listen to. I've heard good things of Machinae Supremacy so that's likely a must. I'm gonna find some stuff for the other bands since I don't know much of them. BUT SOON ENOUGH!

Whatever you've heard about Machinae Supremacy is probably true. It's one of few bands with a truly unique style.

Ok, I redownloaded Limewire and got some stuff.

Machinae Supremacy is...different, but in a good way. It's hard to explain, but I do like the Music. I particularly like Earthbound.

Angra is good enough. Not exactly "ZOMG THIS IS NOW MY FAVOURITE BAND" but still pretty good. I prefer Gamma Ray though, it seems to be more of an Epic Rock type of band than a Power Metal band. But it's enjoyable.

I haven't found any Blaze yet, but I'm looking.

I had a lot of trouble trying to find some Blaze stuff too, nothing on Limewire. Are you registered on Demonoid? There's a Blaze discography there. And maybe I could send you something somehow.

Nope, but don't worry. Soulseek is supposed to be good for rarer stuff.

Also... Ayreon. It's a rock opera with many singers from famous metal bands (Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden, Andi Deris of Helloween, Devin Townsend of Strapping Young Lad, James LaBrie of Dream Theater and Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth to name a few)
