I'm surprised they even took pictures together-they even have a video out with them both getting interviewed.
“I want the number-one spot,” Kanye West says at the rapper-producer’s cover shoot with 50 Cent. “That’s why I go to the studio … this is my job, this is my life, this is my passion.” “This is a competitive age of hip-hop. You gotta compete,” adds 50 Cent. There’s been a lot of talk about their two new albums, which will face off at record stores September 11th — now watch the pair address their potentially record-breaking chart showdown and what makes them both yearn to be the best. West talks about the days when Biggie, Wu-Tang, Jay-Z and Nas released albums at the same time, and Fifty admits he came to Kanye for beats when he started thinking about Curtis. Check out the pair’s candid analysis of their album-release feud right here.
Me personally think that Curtis will sell more because he is really commercial and dumb kids pick it up just because they want to scream the name,"50!" I liked 50 when he first came out,but that was before he let the money turn him into something else. This album might be back to its roots(what the-The Massacre sucked!)but I'll have to hear.
Graduation will definitely be the second runner up.I know this album is much realer than Curtis because even if your not a fan-you know where he is coming from.
It's four more days away form their release. And I'm anxious for the outcome.I might just cop both since money ain't thing right now.I plan to review them right when I get them.
