Avatars and Sigs

Admin, i would like to ask you somthing.
First of all, why are there no pictures for avatars?
Another thing is why can I not make my avatar display?
Next reason is the most important one, WHY DO I HAVE TO GO DOWN TO THE FORUM JUMP TO JUMP TO FORUMS? I MEAN WHY DOESN'T THIS FORUM HAVE THE LINK TO THE INDEX AT THE TOP OF THE POSTS WHEN YOU ENTER A TOPIC OR SUB-FORUM?
Lastly, I would really like to know whats the reason for the limited smilies?

What are you having trouble with about your avatar? I think they have to be no bigger than 120x120 or 19.5KB something like that. If they don't meet those criteria then they won't upload. If it does, then I don't know why it wouldn't work.

I think he is talking about wanting the Forum Jump box down at the bottom right of the page to be at the top. I'd say they that it was put down there because when you post a reply or read someone else's reply it is always at the bottom of the page (this is by default, you might have yours set up to show the newest post at the top of the page) in which case I can see why you want it at the top of the page. I personally like it at the bottom because I have mine set to show the oldest first and newest at the bottom so when I read a new post I am closer to the bottom of the page. It would be nice to have it set up so that when you change the default setting to show newest post first, that it would also change the placement of the forum jump box.

The thing you speak of isn't really an index though, it can only take you back to the previous forum. It shows you the path from the main forum area that you took. The forum Jump box that is being referred to is an index because it will let you go to any other forum on the page, as well as other site areas. Its an index to the whole site.

On the forum jump its called the "Forum Home" or somthing like that.
And my avatar is uploaded, It just wont appear, maybe did it wrong but ill check later

Sorry about the delayed response, as I must've overlooked this post =/ Anyways, regarding your avatar, pizza - all functions are working fine for me, and I haven't received any complaints from users about their avatar not working. Please note the restrictions (Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 120 by 120 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller) and try again. Also, there is a link on the bottom of our forum pages titled CoolROM.com, that takes users back to the main page. If you wish to have a link on the top of the page, I can add that too :).

Yes, I would like the link at the top of the page ( or bottom, just as long as you dont have to scroll to find it )
And yea i got my avatar on there.
But could you get some more smilies? I've noticed you only have 11, and I would really appriciate it if you could get more.:)

I have changed the link on the logo at the top of our forums so that it will redirect to the home page instead. There are already links up there that take you to the forum home page, so I figured this was ok.
