Conflictive cultures

Often you'll hear of other cultures where they express in poems, plays and even novels; acts of a sexual nature. While to many this is nothing more than cultural differences; others view cultural differences as a way to hide the true perverted nature of many societies. (Often visible in European cultures and media.) However I would like to know where you stand on the issue of this situation. (Please refrain from profanity or anything that will discourage others from sharing...Jerks.) Thanks.

The American society is probably the most screwed up of them all. The whole urban culture thing is just screwed up, everything's one big HUGE puppetshow. The better show U can perform the "higher" Ur place at this society will be. MTV proofs this more than enough, U Americans really R like that. Chauvinistic. But with little to add to other cultures. All U can do is force Urs down other's throat, and then call it democracy.

i agree with kameo, americas ****ed up with being so afraid of showing peoples bodies. like on dr. 90210, its a show about breast implants but they blur out the breasts, thats just dumb. every guy has a **** and every girl has tits i dont know why america is so afraid to show these things.

Good points both made very well. But here's something to think about, (yes I will agree that America has tried to force it's government on other countries.) America has different standards to suit it's people. (Seeing as how America has an assload of sexual offenders who needs a whole bunch of naughtiness on the tv to stimulate them any further?)

People with uncontrollable sexual desires need to see them satisfied. Now if U had the choice of letting them get that satisfaction from watching TV, or from raping a woman, which one would U pick??

It's not my fault Ur mostly Christian government don't see such a simple thing.

It's like drugs, the American streets R full of drug problems, while in my country the problem is pretty much under control because, to a certain level, we allow people to use it. They gonna do it anyway, so U better regulate the whole thing, and make it controllable, rather than forbid it all and let things get out of hand.

Just a simple fact the US government denies.

I fully agree.. That was also a proposal in Denmark, however, they were planning on making pharmacies into marijuanadens made of the confiscated goods on the DK-D border...

yup vary good point. plus think about it, how often do you see 13 year old kids running around with bottles of liquor getting drunk? vary rarely. whenever 13 year old kids are running around doing some kind of drug/alcohol its usually weed. and thats simply because there are no liquor dealer on the corner that can hook you up, but theres always pot dealers who are easy to find if you just ask around a bit. and that is because a 'liquor' dealer wouldn't make any money because its easier for most people to just buy it from the stores. however the weed dealers are the only ones selling it so they are the ones everyone goes to. if the government started letting weed be sold in stores with an age limit like beer and cigs then all them corner dealers would disappear over night and no 13 year old kids would be getting high (vary rarely anyway).

Nah, I just don't like Americans bashing other cultures or European countries while they ain't doing great themselves either. I can name countless of things which just proves Ur culture is more screwed up than mine, but I'm not going to. The American people prove that themselves every day, they don't need me for it. :p

I was thinking about maybe learning Japanese, moving to Japan or something, idk maybe I'm overambitious.

I think Bush should get his butt offa that damnable throne, pull his troops out of the other countries he thinks he rules and also he should stop acting like a fiveyearold that thinks that since he's president he can act like a world leader...
