That, and we've got mods enough already. We've seen that last week.
Also, if we need more moderators I'd vote for someone like Klendathu first. Provided he'd like to do it, of course.
No offense, though :) .....

but if i gots that kind of responsibility i'd be a good citizen or w/e. besides its just mod of one lowly forum thats ment for spaming anyway, not like your giving me control of the website :P.
and could admin just get rid of me if it did come to that, cuz i hear he's been on more lately (not saying i am going to do anything >.>)

If we need more moderators, which we don't right now as there's plenty, maybe even too much, I'd rather have someone a bit more mature do it. Someone who understands the responsibility and don't want to do it just because he thinks it makes him cool, or what ever.

When (or rather if) that time comes, i'm a good choice...maybe.

I wouldn't have any problems at all taking on the responsibilities of being a moderator. I appreciate the nod Kameo. Thanks :)

No offense from me, but I'd rate Klendathu higher than you, just as Kameo states... And we actually don't need any new mods, "too many chefs ruins the food", for the new forum we've got the S.Mods, that's enough as I see it...
Why would you want to be a mod? It's a boring job.

If anything, moderators should be removed, not added.
Even if it has to include me. This site devolves more and more each day in terms of content.
(edit 'xcept for Klendathu, should probably replace a few here)

As I've said "too many chefs ruins the food"...

The number of moderators isn't as much as a concern as the chat:emulation_discussion ratio. I'm not saying chat is wrong, just the type in some situations..
As for the cussing without censorship, well, whether or not admin lied about the whole thing of advertisers not liking the cussing (remember that he tolerated the cussing at first), how many times have I done it and said, screw this guy? Besides, at the very least, you don't have to bold some random letter and make it obvious to everyone else so they can start trashing up the place. Bypassing the cussing filter was one of my researches, not intentions, and at this point I kinda regret giving that info away to everyone here. It just gets slightly annoying...what's wrong with the asterisks?

I don't see anything wrong with the asterisks however I can turn the tables around and ask, whats wrong with bad %&#=/¤% on these forums? I mean it's 13+ of age forums and they can't avoid the language anywhere and BTW it's too easy to decipher the words anyways... It was even harder for admin to uncensor all the words containing ass... So how big a problem is it...? Is it such a big problem that this post contains the word ass...?

Missing the point, the point is if your a Mod, Kameo, Icono, Fid, Cm, or myself could not ban you. Meaning there be nothing stopping you from being the true Pyro you are and admin? admin avoid conflicts and only give friendly PMs he's not going to ban you saddly, even if you got out of hand
As it is we S.Mods are enough to pick up the slack on the forums, so more mods aren't needed right now for CoolROM level of activeness

Well, I know admin is not truely the confrontational type, but I feel positive he would be willing to "revoke" a traitor moderator of that which makes one so. Probably never ban, though.

Ask him, not me. According to him, his money or payment for the site is on the line.
Well, in my opinion, censoring ass (oops) is kind of lame, but I think it can still be reasonable.
The annoying part is bypassing the filter as a show-off of someone else's discovery just because you can. If there's a reason for it, fine, just, I was only wondering, it's admin's wishes, why not just follow them for the sake of it at least?

Nah. he's too busy playing xbox 360. (I'm sure between him and Kit, they play 360 24 hours a day.):p

That's one good reason for U not to be one. Moderating is not a fashion item, it is not a popularity contest.

I agree that admin is a bit too friendly, and that he provokes no reaction, and I respect the part of him being the payer of the forums, however I don't see why any mod would turn traitor... I don't see myself as a traitor, I see myself as I see everyone else, as an individual, I value my own opinions higher than others, most likely to a fault, but still who doesn't?

To be blunt, you weren't the one who showed me the trick, one of my friends did...

Yes, though some people do occasionally excite at the opinion of another more than that of their own.
It does not have to be a traitor moderator who hates this site and wants to take everything down; it can be, well, Pyro. I still feel no regret in saving him from banship, but asking to be a moderator while tolerating the judgement of a spammer seems to be asking possibly a little too much.

Well, if he had any HTML knowledge (or the person who told him), he would know that using PHPbb code that has no visual affect on text would have worked equally. It doesn't have to be bold; it can be color=white, which separates the output HTML. This was the method I discovered; apparently, your friend wasn't proficient in the science of HTML.

Pyro's an ok fellow, however he can be quite irrational from time to time... Which is why I don't believe he should be mod... Another reason for that being that I don't feel I can trust this guy, I mean he's been banned, and because of that made like six or seven pyro accounts, and not only that, he can't take anything serious either... He is nowhere near getting the mod.position and if he continues to make a laugh out of everything he won't ever come close to becoming one...

In my book, pyro and firebird are from the same user archetype. They both **** around but not enough to get banned (at least not permanently). Only firebird mostly did this a long time ago so most people don't remember that stuff. Except pyro is aligned with me and firebird is aligned with Craze. And firebird puts on this "I am a complex individual" face as default, at least lately. Firebird seems smarter I think. Thats what it do.

Well, Pyro's changed a bit, too, just not as much as fiReBirD I don't think, and I say "think" primarily because I honestly don't remember much of fiReBirD when he first joined. At the time, I was a Freshman stressing over high school work, even though I had A's in everything except one random class each time.

I was actually a real jerk when I first started modding... However that was mostly because of my inexperience at the time...
