Okay, I am finally trying to get the Hi-Res mod for Zelda OoT going, but I am stuck, because PJ64 wont let me choose Rice's Plugin as a video plugin. I have followed the instructions here (http://www.tehskeen.com/forums/showthread.php?t=738) perfectly. and the plugin is not available in the emulator.

I could move the 2 files from the rice plugin download fom the "plugins" folder to the "plugin" folder with the other .dll files, but then when Open the emulator and go to options-->settings, I get an error popup that says "could not read ini file from disk" and the whole emulator freezes and crashes.

What gives?! could someone help me here?

Yesterday is probably the only day I haven't logged on for a long time.

Right. As you seem to have observed, the directory specified in the page you linked to, "C:\PJ64\Plugins", is a lazy way of writing, "Place these files in the plugins subdirectory of Project64's directory.", which happens to be named--as in common for all other emulators--"Plugin". As far as I know, no such folder by the name "Plugins" is used by anything in Nintendo 64 emulation.

The missing Rice's Video Plugin INI configuration file you reported is a fault of the supplier. Nowadays, mudlord--who is continuing development of the previously discontinued plugin--is working on the texture modification feature efficiency. His versions can be downloaded through the below link and comes with this INI file you need. Installation should be easier due to the merge of some required library binaries.
