Bomberman 64 video problems

Hi.

Slight problem here. Can't see anything except text, using Project 64, all roms I have found have this problem or is in japanese and only the battlefield can't be seen. Plz help.

I so happen to have Bomberman 64. Your graphics problems can be caused by one or both of two things:

1. Graphics adapters not good enough (your hardware)
2. You're using Rice's Video Plugin.

Now, don't get me wrong. Rice's Video Plugin is a very good plugin. It does things that Jabo's graphics plugin doesn't. Depending on the game, it's even sometimes better than Jabo's. But with Bomberman 64, Rice's complicates settings too much. Try using a different graphics plugin.

I'm not using Rice as I've only got Jabo's Direct3D6 and 7 Graphics plugins. Can you tell what else I might need? Any other plugins work?

I used Jabo's direct 8 plugin. I have direct 6 and 8. Try the version requiring the lastest DirectX version.

On coolroms.com it will not let me download Bomberman64. i lke that game too

Not true (http://www.coolrom.com/roms/n64/1250/Bomberman_64.php). Look for the button that shows up in 15 minutes at the bottom of the page, and click it.

It's sorted. Turns out, I used and older version of PJ64 and upgraded to 1.6. I also found out that you can then move a copy of the plugin to Project64K to play Bomberman 64 over netplay.
